About Me

I am a personal trainer, traveller, and constant learner. Graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Kinesiology, double major in Fitness and Lifestyle, and Recreation and Sport Administration. I am working on getting the OPEX CCP certification and have previously been a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) with CSEP but since I want to travel I have let it expire. I have completed the CF L2 and CrossFit Gymnastics courses. I am currently working at Synergy Strength and Conditioning as the head trainer and programmer for the gym.

Ever since I could walk I have played sports. I have played hockey, football, track and field, soccer, baseball, lacrosse, volleyball, basketball, badminton, inline hockey, and ultimate frisbee. Hockey was the sport I excelled at the most, playing on many different travelling teams while growing up. Football was the sport I tried to take further though, not my best decision ever, which went as far as a try-out with the junior team in Regina and that was it. I have also helped coach inline hockey, and track and field.

These days I am basically just playing at CrossFit. I am always looking to learn something new to learn from whether it be from a podcast, a book, my own mistakes and experiences, or an individual who is very knowledgeable of the topic they practice in. I also love to travel! I want to travel to as many places as I can. I have already been to different areas in Canada and parts of central and southern United States. I have also been to Mexico, Fiji, Australia, Bali, and New Zealand. Other places I would like to visit are Thailand, Europe, and Scandinavia.
